Often when I have cooking class, I buy fish from Go Fish or sometimes from Blue Sea Fish. Other popular places to buy fish is Premier Cold Storage or from Kunnil Hypermarket, Medical College.
Btw, I had couple of cooking classes where foreigners asked for Kerala dishes. They had specifically asked or fish dishes like Fish Molee, Kerala fish curry, appam, etc.
In a typical class, I teach around four to five dishes. The duration of the class is 3 hrs where they get hands-on experience in making the dishes. Some people prefer veg. For them I teach Dosa, Sambar, Chuteny, Panner, Appam, etc.
The fee for each student starts from Rs 2,800. For groups, the fee is less for each student.
