Aloo Paratha
This was something I tried yesterday for my lunch to office. It came out well and is fairly simple to try out. If you want to try a simpler version of stuffed Parathas, you may want to try out my Aloo Paratha. I learned making Parathas from my cousin’s wife and slowly picked up the art of making stuffed Parathas. Once you learn it, it’s just as easy as making chapathi.
To make Aloo Paratha, I boiled the potatoes and mashed it properly. Then I chopped some onions, ginger, coriander leaves, and then seasoned it with mustard, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilly powder and also the chopped onions, ginger and finally the mashed Aloo. Then stuff it in the Paratha dough and make tasty Parathas.
Serve it along with cool raita, or pickle.
