Thanks to Cindya and Linya who got two big Jackfruits for me and that made me try out all possible recipes I know using Jackfruit .

Cafe Boba Queen's Bubble Tea

 An evening with Ashwaty #cafebobaqueen at Vellayambalam, Trivandrum

I met her first time during the month of November 2021 when she came for my French Macaron class but prior to that she had attended couple of online classes

I am very happy to visit her restaurant today and taste her amazing chicken starter, BubbleTea and the mouth watering creamy cheesy white pasta along with Spanish Omelette.

It was an evening worth spending time at her restaurant , she had arranged small games like UNO, snake and ladder or read a book while we wait for our food. A small place we’re we can chill with a Bubble Tea.

Looking forward to visit her again for the Pizza

Varkala Beach - Weekend getaway

A lovely Sunday at Varkala Beach

A short trip by train from Trivandrum to Varkala, which took us around 40mts to reach.

We found a good restaurant by the Cliff side and settled down for our lunch and my fish lover man could not compromise for anything other than fish so finally had to agree with it but convinced to get hold of some chicken grill and roti’s too which I enjoyed.

Sometimes these small trips gives you lot of energy and makes you feel fresh to plan and start your week ahead.  Felt like doing this short trips again.

We took the evening 5:20pm train and back home by 6:30pm , had our evening tea at kochuveli railway station .

Relaxed and looking forward to a wonderful week ahead.

Small things in Life matters

Small things in life matters a lot, we take the little things in our life for granted but those little things give us the ultimate happiness.

Couple of months back I got a call from @deepa502 saying that she would love to taste the 7up cake which I have made few days prior and to my surprise she dropped In to taste that cake the very next day and I was thrilled to have her home for a chat and share the Cake.

Yesterday when I posted the Chakkaappam (Jackfruit Appam) I got a call from @agiantony that she would love to taste them. I was delighted to have her today morning for a chat with Chakka Appam, she got me note book to note down my recipes ❤️

Chingam 1 Celebrations

 Chingam 1 is the first day (New year) in Malayalam Calendar and after 30 days we celebrate Onam.

Since my niece Michelle had come down for vacation from Abu Dhabi and she is not there for Onam so we celebrated a small Onam with the Sadya

Happy 50th Birthday

I am grateful for my life,I have my faith which gives me hope and strength, family to love and be loved by and good friends and students to cherish. My life is not perfect, but it’s about as close as anyone can get.

So today(April 20th 2022) as I celebrate my 50 years with gratefulness in my heart for all the goodness and blessings God has given me. This life I have is the greatest gift of them all.

When I look in the mirror, I wonder who that person is, because I still think of myself as the 25-year, but reality is different 😁
