Relaxed Holiday Stay at Travancore Heritage

Just sharing the experience of our first stay-out trip at this resort in Trivandrum. 

Trip to the heritage Resort called Travancore Heritage

I'm not sure how many of you reading this has gone for some sort of vacation or trip in the last two years. As for me, it was almost a two year wait. 

The main reason for this short holiday is for my brother who had come down from Middle East. I haven't seen in person for a long time and this holiday season, he had come down with his family. What better way to celebrate than to go for a short trip.. 

 As I write this review cum information of my trip, we have the new wave peaking at many places. Omricon is spreading fast in many pockets of this country. And, now I hear new variant also. It makes us think whether all these virus thing will ever end.

Coming to the holiday part....

This is my second or third visit to this beach side resort called Travancore Heritage. First time I have been to this resort was the company outing which was almost a decade back. 

For this trip we were seven of us booked three rooms. Out of the three room, two rooms were adjacent rooms connected with a common balcony. The balcony passage was convenient, as family members could easily move from one room to another.

Rooms were spacious, with elegant furniture. Another highlight of the room is the large balcony space with the beach view. The cane chair on the balcony were reminiscent of the sit-out in our old house.

By sun down, even elders in the family walked to the beach. And, the kido had a good time splashing in the pool. 

The dinner spread was wholesome and content. Special thanks to the chef for the sea food platter. Loved the kalamari rings and prawns.  

Sleep came in the backdrop sound of rolling waves. 

The complimentary breakfast spread had a mix of South, North and continental items. 

So, we had our first outing since the start of pandemic and it went well with good memories and cherished moments.

Activities t do at this resort

- Go for Ayurveda massage and treatment therapy
- Be at the pool and wade all day
- Sit and read or work from the balcony space
- Walk to the beach  ( around 600 mts). Go for beach walks, jog or do yoga
- If you take cottage, then you get private mini-pool
