Sunflower Cake and Cupcakes

These days I'm trying out any new cake design I come across the net. Some work well, some fail to meet the expectations. In today's experiment, I tried out sunflower design on cupcakes and on the cake. The first part came of my baking experiment came out well on cupcakes. The sunflower design on the cake failed to impress the critics in my house.

So, what's the lesson here. You win and you will loose some. Finally, it's not just about winning or loosing, but it's about trying out new paths to take you to a higher ground.
