It’s been ages since I had chakkavattal, and today’s evening snack hit different—crispy jackfruit strips + chai = pure joy.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if some chai stalls in Trivandrum started offering a mini portion of hot chakkavattal or banana chips with your tea? Just a small steel katori on the side. It’s not about cost—just a way to say, “Thanks for stopping by.”
Btw, giving customers freebie is also a way to attract customers to buy 100 grams for freshly fried chakka-vattral for their family. So, it's a win-win for the biz, as well for the customer!
