Cafe Sarwaa's cafe located at South Cliff in Varkala is a must visit place when you visit Varkala. The sight of the clean, empty beach from this vantage point of the cafe is mesmerizing for the cafe visitors. Unlike in North Cliff which is dotted by all sorts of restaurants, curio shops, massage centres, this place is ideal for those seeking solitude and time away from crowds.
There are now few places to stay around Sarva Cafe. I visited this cafe after a long gap and now I see more building construction activity in this area. It looks like this spot is catching up as a spot for young upbeat people to spend some time or watch the ocean and work on the laptop.
